Jared M. Krukar is board certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in Appellate Practice. He practices exclusively in the areas of appellate practice and civil litigation support.
Mr. Krukar has a wide range of appellate experience, beginning with his early roles at the Florida Second District Court of Appeal as a Central Staff Attorney and then as a Senior Staff Attorney to the Honorable Darryl C. Casanueva. In private practice, he has successfully represented business and individuals in cases before the Federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Florida, all five of Florida’s District Courts of Appeal, and several Florida Circuit Courts’ appellate divisions. Jared has also provided civil litigation assistance in both state and federal courts, including complex and dispositive motion practice and appellate trial support. His cases involve issues of personal injury, insurance coverage, insurer bad faith, premises liability, wrongful death, arson, commercial litigation, construction law, and family law, among others. Mr. Krukar has been qualified and has testified as an expert on appellate attorneys’ fees in Florida courts.
Jared currently serves as the Diversity Committee Chair of The Florida Bar Appellate Practice Section and as a member of The Florida Bar Standing Committee on Diversity and Inclusion. Locally, Jared is the President-Elect of the North Tampa Bar Association and Past Chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association Appellate Law Section.

Jared is a regular speaker and author for various professional organizations throughout Florida on topics related to appellate practice and the practice of law generally. He is also an adjunct professor in the Law, Justice & Advocacy program at the University of Tampa.
Jared earned his bachelor’s degree in International Economics (with a minor in Criminology) from the University of Florida. He then earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Stetson University, and his Juris Doctor from the Stetson University College of Law.
